Beaver County Release Records
A person is released from a particular legal custodian. That detail controls the search. Beaver County Correctional Facility holds pretrial detainees, people serving county terms, people awaiting transfer to the Utah Department of Corrections, and contract prisoners. Leaving its web display can mean bail, time served, dismissal, transfer, a detainer, or another custody-ending event. Only some of those paths end with a return to the community.
The county jail's custody-movement entry is the best local proof. It can identify the date, time, event type, and receiving agency. VINE may provide a prompt custody-change signal, while the Utah court case may show the order that led to the move. Neither source replaces the movement record. For a state prisoner, UDC legal status and the Board of Pardons and Parole decision answer different parts of the same question.
A person who leaves a Beaver booking display has not necessarily gone home. Confirm whether the event was community release or transfer.
How Beaver Releases Differ
Release labels describe distinct legal events. They should not be treated as synonyms. A bond release leaves charges pending. Parole ends prison confinement but starts community supervision under the sentence. A transfer ends Beaver custody while another agency takes over.

Beaver County Release Fields
A focused request should identify the person and ask for existing fields. Full name alone can match the wrong person. Add a date of birth when known, along with the booking or case number and a narrow date range. The following inventory keeps identity, legal authority, and physical movement separate.

Retention is not the same as the county's public display window. Beaver publishes a rolling booking view, but the research found no public retention schedule for the underlying release record. Ask Sheriff's Records for the applicable schedule when an older movement matters.
Request Beaver Release Records
Beaver Sheriff's Records accepts an online request under Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act, commonly called GRAMA. The Beaver GRAMA request form includes a Jail Records choice, incident or case details, a description, contact fields, a signature, and a fee acknowledgment. Request the record that already exists instead of asking the office to research an open-ended question.
- Identify the person with full name, date of birth if known, booking or case number, and a narrow period.
- Ask for the booking record, custody-event log, actual movement date and time, stated release type, and receiving agency if transferred.
- Choose electronic delivery and request a cost estimate before work exceeds an amount you select.
- Submit to the entity that retains the record. Use Beaver Records for county custody and UDC's GRAMA route for state custody.
- If access is denied, read the cited classification and appeal instructions. Ask for segregable public fields or a redacted copy.
Utah Code § 63G-2-204 generally calls for a response as soon as reasonably possible and no later than ten business days. The faster five-business-day track needs a showing that speed benefits the public, and extraordinary circumstances can extend the period. A response can produce a record, deny access, report that none exists, or invoke more time. Beaver does not publish one flat release-record fee. Inspection is generally free, while reasonable search or copy costs may apply under § 63G-2-203.

Beaver Release Record Limits
GRAMA begins with access to public records but also recognizes private, controlled, protected, and restricted information. Release facts can be available while medical, victim, juvenile, investigative, or security details remain withheld. A narrow request for public fields is more useful than a demand for the entire file.
Sealing and expungement also change the public trail. Utah Xchange omits expunged, sealed, juvenile, and other nonpublic cases. Under Title 77 chapter 40a, an expungement order can cover arrest, detention, sentence, incarceration, probation, and parole records. A missing result should be respected. It never proves that no custody event happened. If the requester is a party to a supported case, MyCourtCase offers a separate account-based view that is not a general public person search.

Bond Release in Beaver County
Beaver's official jail FAQ gives a concrete first step for a bond release. Call dispatch at 435-438-2862 to confirm that the person is housed at the jail, the listed charges, the bail amount, and the court with jurisdiction. Bail may be paid at the court or jail. The county identifies cash, cashier's check, and money order, plus a surety bond through a company licensed in Utah.
A bond event does not end the criminal case. It permits a pretrial exit subject to the court's terms. The court docket records the legal action, while the jail movement confirms when the person left Beaver custody. Do not treat a bond entry as dismissal, time served, or proof that another hold did not apply.
Find Beaver County Releases
No single Beaver portal provides a complete released-person archive. The county offers recent booking history, VINE provides a custody-change signal, the court explains legal action, and the jail movement record confirms the event. This sequence works for both a very recent exit and an older public record.
- Check the Beaver Recent Bookings page for the prior admission and record identifying details.
- Search Utah on VINELink and compare identifiers. Read the reporting agency and distinguish release from transfer.
- Use Utah Courts Xchange to find the bail order, dismissal, judgment, sentence, warrant, or later termination entry.
- Call Beaver Corrections at 435-438-6497 or Records at 435-438-2467 and ask whether the last event was community release, transfer, or another hold.
- Submit a focused GRAMA request for the movement entry when the public and phone channels do not settle the question.
- Continue with UDC, ICE, USMS, another county, or another state when the record names a receiving agency.
After the booking card drops beyond the rolling window, Xchange and the retained Sheriff's record become the durable paths. Absence from VINE or UDC is also inconclusive because each service has its own coverage and retention limits.
Beaver Booking Data Is Different
The sheriff does not publish an official 24-hour or 72-hour release feed. Its public page is labeled for bookings during the past 30 days. Some dynamic cards may show “IN CUSTODY,” but an unmarked card is not a release certificate. The display gives no published release timestamp, release reason, fixed refresh schedule, or release-only filter.

UDC Search After Beaver Release
The UDC Offender Search covers people currently under Utah corrections supervision. It can find a former prisoner who now has legal status “Parolee.” “Inmate” means state custody continues, while “Probationer” shows court-ordered supervision and does not by itself prove a prison release. A fully discharged person may no longer appear.

The UDC Media and Public Information route is the fallback for a discharged person. Ask for legal-status history, custody movement, parole or release date, termination or expiration date, Board order, and case identifiers. A future Board or parole date can change, so confirm execution through UDC status, VINE, or the actual movement record.

Tuesday State Releases from Beaver
UDC's release-day practice applies to state prisoners, including many housed in a contract county jail. Releases and paroles are processed on Tuesdays, mostly at Utah State Correctional Facility. UDC directs families of people housed at USCF or CUCF to arrive at the release building at 9 a.m. and families of state prisoners housed in county jails at 10 a.m. Almost all county-housed state prisoners are still processed through USCF, with rare exceptions communicated to the affected family.
This schedule does not govern ordinary Beaver pretrial or county-sentence releases. UDC may help a state client without a ride reach a nearby TRAX station, and people without rides may leave later. That Salt Lake process must not be presented as a Beaver County jail shuttle or local pickup rule.
Courts Explain Beaver Releases
Beaver cases divide by court level. District court handles felonies and class A misdemeanors. Justice court generally handles class B and C misdemeanors, infractions, and traffic matters. Utah Courts Xchange can show charges, plea, disposition, judgment, sentence, minute entries, warrants, and later completion events. Those entries often explain why a booking vanished.

Use date of birth, county, court, case type, and date filters to reduce a name collision. A court order can authorize release, but only the jail movement supplies the actual exit time.
Property After a Beaver Release
Beaver documents a property transaction and release form for property sent through the mail or handled during visiting. The published page does not identify a final-release property desk, an after-hours process, a pickup deadline, an exit door, or a family waiting area. Call Corrections at 435-438-6497 before making plans and ask about the specific handoff.
No official source found in the research advertises a jail release shuttle, a fixed-route stop at the Public Safety Facility, a taxi agreement, or a rideshare pickup rule. Arrange pickup with the person and Corrections, then confirm the allowed place and likely time. Do not import UDC's Salt Lake transportation practice into a local Beaver release.
Beaver Electronic Monitoring Status
Beaver's electronic-monitoring program serves pretrial defendants, sentenced probationers, and adult parolees. It creates a documented local status between secure detention and unconditional discharge. The county provides an intake form and appointment route, but it does not publish a participant search.
Verify monitoring through the court case or the appropriate supervision record. A person on monitoring may be outside the jail while still subject to court or AP&P controls. That status should not be called full discharge, and the absence of a public participant list says nothing about whether monitoring applies.
Federal Releases Linked to Beaver
Use a federal tool only when the case or receiving-agency field points there. The BOP Inmate Locator covers sentenced federal prisoners from 1982 forward and can display “Released” or “Not in BOP Custody,” along with a release date. That proves exit from BOP, not freedom from every authority. ICE's locator covers current detainees and people released from ICE custody during the prior 60 days. A county release to an ICE hold is the start of a separate federal custody trail.
USMS has no comparable public name locator for federal pretrial custody. Use the federal docket and a focused FOIA request for historical placement or disposition, then follow BOP if the person entered the sentenced federal prison system. No BOP prison or dedicated ICE detention center was verified in Beaver County.

Each channel answers a narrow question. The best confirmation combines the legal event, the physical movement, and the next status instead of forcing one source to perform all three tasks.

Which source proves the actual Beaver exit? The jail's custody-movement or release entry. VINE and the docket are valuable checks, but the originating custodian records the physical event.
